Below and Beyond
Realism is the unknown in this world and I get to play in it as much as I please.
Colour in underwater photography is inevitably artificial (white light does not penetrate and most fish or invertebrate have either limited colour vision or are colourblind.) Sea creatures have a different lens system to land creatures hence have never seen colours as we do. In fact , with all the variables of light , lens and processing systems, no two people ever saw the colours in the same way.
This is my interpretation of my experiences of another world.
