This series created between 2006 and 2009 explores the decorative elements of various familiar traditions and cultures, past and present and translated them onto the canvas.

“In this new context I explore decorative images as the decorative but also as the narrative where the formal communicates with the expressive, the figurative with the abstract and various mediums with one another as the various cultures meet and communicate in a visual language.”
